The Festool OF 2200 EB Router is commonly nicknamed a portable shaper. It's enormous power, 2200 watts to be exact, make it capable of plunging into 8/4 hardwood or make 1/2" grooves in a single pass without a hiccup. Thanks to it's MMC electronics, constant speed, even under load, is always achieved.
