Milwaukee Fuel toolsI have a lot of Milwaukee battery operated tools as well as Dewalt. Each company makes one type of tool that is better than the comparable other. I had a Milwaukee fuel impact driver that was awful. The minute you applied any pressure to it, it would bog down snd eventually pick up, then bog down again. Sent it back to a Milwaukee repair shop and a week or maybe a bit longer, got it back and it did exactly the same thing. My advice to everyone is to stay away from any fuel Milwaukee tools. Happy with all others

IMPRESSIVEplenty of power, more than expected. this i a very capable tool.

Awesome Die Grinder!!! Another quality product!Another homerun for Milwaukee! This die geinder is amazing. It has way more power than it's pneumatic competitors and battery life is very good. The 3 different speeds give plenty of flexibility for different jobs. Excellent with wire wheel for cleaning up detail areas and places an angle grinder won't fit. Low vibration and comfortable to hold and use. Highly recommended

Works good but needs workI bought this about 4 months ago and it worked really good. But as soon as I put on a flapper wheel it shuts off as soon as i start. It also shuts off when i have chatter with a carbide bit. As soon as you put just a little bit to much pressure on it shuts off. It is a good tool all and all but needs a little bit of work.

Doesn't meet expectations, low performance.I made the switch from dewalt to Milwaukee about a year ago and now have a nice collection of 18v and 12v Milwaukee fuel tools. So far I have been very pleased, however I recently bought a kit with both this and the right angle die grinder. Both of these tools are perfectly useable for light sanding or buffing with 2" disks, rust removal etc. They are compact, lightweight with little vibration and low noise, I like the rpm adjustability the paddle style switch that mimics std air tools. The problem is the fact that Milwaukee claims that this puts out 1/3 hp and will outperform the pneumatic competition claiming "The die grinder delivers 20% more power than pneumatic competition" (referencing 1/4 hp pneumatic die grinders) I have a lot of pneumatic die grinders several of which are 1/4 hp My IR 301b die grinders (my smallest die grinders rated at 1/4 hp) and even my $12 central pneumatic from harbor freight outperform these Milwaukees. There is no way these output the 1/3 hp that Milwaukee claims. I use NEW Genuine Milwaukee 6ah batteries with these and even when spinning at top speed I can stop the tool with little more than light pressure. I have even stopped this tool running a 2" surface conditioning pad at top speed by grabbing it between two fingers. Milwaukee's claims are inflated and the price point is too high for this level of performance. Again you can purchase a pneumatic die grinder from harbor freight that will definitely outperform and probably outlast these Milwaukees. But if all you want is the convenience of a cordless tool and will only be doing very light work with it you can buy it at a premium here.

No IssuesNot a single issue works great not sure if the others who put a review got a defective one cause i love this thing. Great for cutting, sanding, grinding welds off, you name it. Really convenient
-
Do NOT buyAs stated by other reviewers, this tool, and its bother right angle 1/4” grinder, just shuts off while in use. Mine shuts off with little pressure. No matter what activity you are using this tool for, it will inexplicably shut off. Restart, does it again. The variability of when it decides to cut off tells me it is not due to 1) too much pressure, 2) getting too hot, 3) type of work, etc. I purchased this as a kit with angle grinder. Love how they feel and the adability of how and where to use them. What is that worth versus the tool not working? Nothing.
-
I would not gunna try Nd get money backI just bought it on thurs. put cutting wheel on it stared cutting and thing just shuts down, with hardly any pressure it stops.
-
Shuts offHave the same issue as the other reviewer. The slightest load on it shuts it off and makes it useless. I have the angled version also and it does the same thing. This is a serious issue and Milwaukee needs to do something about it. If it weren't for this problem, this would be one of the best things since sliced bread.

Milwaukee needs to corrct the shut down problemI noticed that with Milwaukee Fuel tools they seem to shut down once a load is put on them. Milwaukee needs to fix this problem because i have several Milwaukee power tools and the rotational type al do the same thing. They shut down when a load is put on them..
